All Official GPK Items at Gross Card Con

Did you miss last weekend 10th anniversary of Gross Card Con? If so you missed the largest ever gathering of GPK artists and collectors. All artists had full tables of their work, both GPK and other items. If you missed the show, here is a rundown of the items you missed at the show.

There were a few official licsnsed promo cards to be had. Neil Camera did two promos that were free from the GPK & Wacky Warehouse table. 1a Bet Ted was available Saturday, while Payday Jay was available Sunday. Collectors who purchased the show set were giving a pair of promo cards done by Rory McQueen. The cards help celebrate the 10th anniversary of Gross Card Con.

GetAGrip of course was in on the action at the show. They had previously sold a GPK Mystery Box that had to be picked up at the show. They kept the contents a mystery until collectors received their box. Inside the box collectors were treated to a number of licensed merchandise and cards. Cards included new artwork from Rory McQueen of Adam Bomb along with an autographed version. Also included were regular card sized versions of Adam Bomb and Nasty Nick based off of patterns from the GetAGrip’s Giant Art Prints set. Merchandise included a crossbody sling bag, key chain, and yo-yo. GetAGrip also sold a four card Giant Art Prints set featuring a new pattern not found in the regular set.

84th Philly Non-Sports Card Show Kicks Off Con Season

Spring has sprung and that means it’s time to begin Convention Season! The 84th Philly Non-Sorts card show is set to kickoff the con season, with their show nearly one month away. The show takes place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. PA, April 18 & 19, 2026. The spring show is set to be in Hall D, a slightly larger hall than usual. There will be more than 100 non-sports vendors and artists, along with manufacturers Cryptozoic Entertainment, Rittenhouse Archives, SideKick, Monsterwax and RRParksCARDS.

For GPK collectors, one of the big highlights of every Philly show is the headlining artists. Longtime GPK artist David Gross will be at the show. David plans on having an official GPK promo pair available for sale at his booth, along with new cards from his Gross Rejects series. Former GPK sketch artist, Jason Brower, and new GPK sketch artist Vinnie Rappa will have a booth, in addition to artist Tim Shinn.

The promo cards are always a hot item. Saturday attendees will receive 1a A.I. Art (while supplies last). Sunday attendees will receive his twin, 1b Avant Gerard (while supplies last). Artwork for those cards was done by artist Neil Camera. Meanwhile, attendees on both Saturday and Sunday will receive Wacky Packages promo, Non-Shorts Card Show (while supplies last), card was painted by Neil Camera with concept by Peter Zies. There are sure to be other non GPK promo cards from manufacturers and the show itself.

The traditional Saturday night dinner has undergone a location change. This show’s dinner will take place at Arnold’s Family Fun Center. The center is located across the street from the Hall. The Fun Center features video games, go karts, bowling, and more for collectors to enjoy before or after the dinner. Collectors wishing to attend can purchase tickets now for $45 from the Philly Non-Sports Website.

The show takes place Saturday April 18th from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Sunday April 19th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Tickets are $12 per day, or a two day pass for $20. For the first time, collectors can pre purchase tickets at the Philly Non-Sports Website, or at the door the day of the show. This is your chance to hang out with artists and collectors alike and fill all your GPK needs!

Everything GPK at the Next Fall Philly Non-Sports Card

This year’s NYCC might not have much in the way of Garbage Pail Kids. So East Coast GPK collectors should set their sights on the 83rd Philly Non-Sports Card Show. This year’s fall event will once again have a big GPK focus. The show is just one month away, Oct. 25 & 26, and will be held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA – Hall E.

The highlight of the show is the guest artist lineup, and every one of them has GPK ties. GPK sketch artists Jason Crosby, Sam Barugh, Ted Dastick Jr., and Mike Ritchey will be at the show to interact with collectors and sell their artwork.

Promo cards are always a treat for collectors at the show. This show is no exception. Collectors entering the show will receive an official GPK promo card, Sleazy Sam, with artwork done by Sam Barugh. They will also receive a Wacky Packages promo card painted by Neil Camera, (concept by Peter Zies). The usual Philly Red Border cards will once again be included in promo packs, with a twist, random promo packs will contain medal versions of the red border cards. As has been the case for recent shows, collectors at the show on Sunday at 1:00 PM will receive a metal promo card.

The customary Saturday night dinner is scheduled once again. The guest speaker will be media guest Gary Gerani. Gary will be discussing the final book on his career in trading cards, The Card King Chronicles Vol. 5: The New Century. Collectors attending the dinner will receive an exclusive promo card. Collectors wishing to attend the dinner should email Philly Non-Sports Show to make reservations.

This long running show will have plenty of vendors selling GPKs as well as all types of non-sports items. The show is open on Saturday 10/25 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Sunday 10/26 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Tickets are available at the door for $12 per day, or $20 for a two day pass. New GPK Promo Cards at Philly Non-Sports Show

Collectors will have plenty of new official Garbage Pail Kids promo cards available to them at this weekend’s Philly Non-Sports card show: Here’s a rundown of what collectors can look for at the show.

From the show – There are a number of promo cards that will be given out at the show. A four card tribute set to Roxanne Toser done by artists David Gross, Joe Simko, Joe McWilliams, and Neil Camera will be the highlight for many collectors. Attendees of the show will receive one of the cards free with entrance to the show. Collectors wanting the entire set can purchase one for $10 at the show with profits going towards the Historic B’nai Jacob Synagogue. Additionally, the first 100 collectors in line at the show at 1:00 PM Sunday will receive both a regular and mental card of another Roxanne tribute with art done by Sam Barugh.

David Gross – All the artists in attendance will have new GPK promos to kick off 40th. David Gross will feature artwork that was intended for the Chrome 7 set, but not used due to an error at Topps. The Chrome version of Adam Boom will come in A, B, and even a C version. All cards can be purchased at Gross’ booth at the show. Additionally, Gross will have three new cards for his Rejected series, three new sports parodies, and one last new card on personal stock.

Joe Simko – Simko announced he will have a 40th promo with new artwork featuring Adam Bomb. Super Adam and Birthday Blast Billy can be purchased at his booth at the show. Each card is limited to 100 copies. Simko will also be selling some of his GPK, Craniacs, Cereal Killers, and Stupid Hero’s cards at the show. He will also have original GPK paintings, and will be taking sketch commissions for GPK and Craniacs.

Smokin Joe McWilliams – Joe will have his own 40th GPK promo cards at the show featuring brand new artwork available to purchase at his booth. He will have his giant size stickers featuring GPK characters he’s painted. He will have some Gogoponies vinyl LPs with with GPK inspired artwork he did for the band. He also will have a number of GPK sketch cards an available for purchase.

Details on 82nd Philly Non-Sports Card Show

The next Philly Non-Sports Card Show is only a month away and plans are under way to honor the shows matriarch. The 82nd version of the show will serve to honor the legacy of Roxanne Toser, who had been promoting the show since 2007. The show is scheduled to take place April 5 & 6 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is Oaks, PA. A note to frequent show goers, the show is moving to Hall D, a slightly large hall than their usual Hall E venue.

The show will once again have a huge Garbage Pail Kids presence. The artist lineup is a star studded lineup featuring current GPK final artists, Joe Simko, David Gross, Joe McWilliams, and Neil Camera. There will be a four card set honoring Roxanne Toser at the show. Each of the featured artists created a GPK promo card for the show to honor Roxanne. The artists created the cards and had them printed at their own expense. Collectors attending the show will receive one of the promo cards at random with their paid admission. Collectors wishing to purchase the full set will be able to at the show for $10 with profits going to Historic B’nai Jacob Synagogue, something that was near and dear to Roxanne. Collectors who cannot make the show will be able to purchase the four-card set for $10 each plus shipping ($3 for 1-2 sets, $5 for 3-5 sets; maximum is 5). You may send a check to Roxanne Toser Enterprises, Inc., 4019 Green St., Harrisburg, PA 17110 or pay via Venmo at @Marlin-Toser (if a code is requested, use 8565). Be sure to include your mailing address in the comments. Card sets sold through the mail will be sold while supplies last and will not ship until after the Philly Show has concluded. So far the show has revealed the Rockin Roxanne card done by Joe Simko, and Retro Roxanne by David Gross. They plan to reveal a new each week leading up to the show.

The traditional Saturday night dinner will also take place. There will be an artist panel at the dinner lead by Simko and show promoter Harris Toser with the topic being the 40th anniversary of Garbage Pail Kids. The dinner is sure to sell out. Collectors attending will find the usual various non-sport promo cards giving away at the show including a new Wacky Packages promo card. Media guest Gary Gerani will once again be attending the show as well.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $12 per day or a two day pass for $20. The show will be open on Sat. 4/5 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Sun. 4/6 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. What Collectors Will Find at October Philly Non-Sports Show

The 81st Philly Non-Sports Card Show is just one month away. Once again, the show will have a GPK feel to it! The show is set to take place October 26 & 27 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. The final artist lineup is now set after a recent change. Long time final GPK card artist Smokin Joe McWilliams will be at the show sharing and selling both GPK art and his own unique creations. Joining him will be GPK sketch artist Lily Mercado. Lily is now a veteran GPK sketch artist, having worked on sets for nearly 10 years now. While the other two artists might not be familiar to GPK collectors, they do have hobby ties. Jason Brower did sketch work for one GPK set back in 2015, and while he isn’t quite official yet, collectors might just get to see some GPK sketch work from Vincent Rappa very soon.

GPK promo cards have become a tradition at the Philly show. Neil Camera created an Adam Bomb x Adams Family mashup card for the show. Card 1a, Adam’s Family, will be given to show goers with paid admission while supplies last. There will also be a 1b version of the card that will be given away to attendees of the traditional Saturday night dinner. Collectors can check to see if there are any spots left at the dinner by emailing info@phillynon-sportscardshow.com. There will also be a Wacky Packages promo card, (Artwork Neil Camera/Concept Peter Zies), that will be given to show goers while supplies last.

This show is a must for GPK collectors on the east coast looking to meet their favorite artists, add to their collection, and mingle with their fellow collectors. Philly Non-Sports Card Show Set for Historic Show #80

Summer is the season for cons and card shows. Once again, kicking things off is the 80th Philly Non-Sports Card Show. The show is schedule for May 18 & 19 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA-Hall B. This historic anniversary show is shaping up to be their biggest ever. In fact, the show will be taking place in a larger hall than previous shows. Garbage Pail Kids will once again have a huge influence on the show.

The show is highlighted by numerous GPK artists set to be in attendance. Former GPK artist James Warhola, current GPK artists Joe Simko and David Gross, and GPK sketch artist Ryan Harris will all be there to meet with fans and sell their exclusive artwork. Additionally, non-sports artists Ted Dastick Jr. and media guest Gary Garani will be in attendance.

There will be plenty of promo cards for collectors to get their hands on at the show. Adam Versary 1a will be passed out to collectors Saturday, while Billy Blast 1b will be handed out on Sunday. Metal versions of this Neil Camera card will be passed out on Sunday at the show. Joe Simko will also be selling a licensed promo card at his booth that’s limited to /100. Other free non-sport promo cards at the show include a Promo for Craniacs Series 1 from Simko and Ira Friedman, Legend of the Jersey Devil from Dasick Jr. Spellcasters IV from Perma Studios, and two promos from Ed Webb. There will be other promos as well that haven’t been announced yet. The customary Saturday dinner is already booked for this event. Collectors that already have reserved their spot will receive a surprise promo card and a chance to win some great prizes.

The show will be open on Saturday May 18 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Sunday May 19 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Tickets will be available at the door for $12 per day or a two day pass for $20.
