The next Philly Non-Sports Card Show is set and will be another big event for Garbage Pail Kids collectors. The 85th show is scheduled to take place October 24 & 25 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, Hall E.
The highlight at the show for collectors is always the artists and GPK collectors will be familiar with all four invited artists. The lineup includes Mike Stephens, Eddie Rhodes III, “Big” Adam Edwards, and Magic Marker Inc. owner Mark Pingitore.
As always there will be promo cards at the show. Collectors entering the show will receive a different promo pack each day of the show, while supplies last. Saturday attendees will receive 1a Celebrate Todd, while Sunday attendees will receive 1b Big Bang Ben. The Wacky Philly String card will be given both days of the show. Artwork for the cards was done by Neil Camera. There will be other non-sport promo cards announced closer to the show.
The customary Saturday night dinner will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Valley Forge/Oaks. Tickets for the dinner can be purchased at the Philly Non-Sports Show website. The dinner is sponsored by Legends Collectibles, Phantom Trading, Saturday Morning Clubhouse, and SideKick.
The show will be open from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday 10/24, and 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Sunday 10/25. Individual day or weekend tickets can be purchased in advanced from the Philly Non-Sports website. Tickets will also be available at the door. This show is not to be missed from anyone in the area. Collectors can support their favorite artists, meet their fellow collectors, and add to their collections from the dozens of dealers on hand.
