Update 9/9/26: Today is the release date for 2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball Hobby and Breaker’s Delight boxes. Topps posted the odds for the set on their launch page for the set. The odds for the Bowman GPK inserts are:

The format follows the typical format for GPK inserts in sports sets. Player autographs are only found in Hobby and Breaker’s Delight boxes. Based on the odds, there are a total of 100 of each of the GPK base cards throughout the release. This also matches what Topps has done in the past with print runs. As always these cards are very rare. Collectors can expect 1 GPK base card in every 4.2 Hobby cases, or 1 in 8.6 Breaker’s Delight cases, or 1 in 38 Mega Box cases! Hobby and Breaker’s Delight boxes are out now, while Mega boxes launch 9/23/26.
Once again Garbage Pail Kids are set for a major appearance in 2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball. This will be the third year in a row with GPKs in the set. Topps today launched preorders for the product via their website. The checklists for both Hobby and Mega boxes was also posted today by Topps on the Bowman Chrome Baseball Launch page. Both checklists show there are 50 cards in the Bowman GPK Insert base set. The checklist features a mix of current stars, past players, and up and coming rookies. The Hobby checklist also lists 40 of those cards that will be autographed by the players. Longtime GPK artist David Gross did all the artwork for the set. Topps has not released odds yet, so information on parallels is not available. It’s expected these will once again be SSPs and case hits in the product.
