Garbage Pail Kids Return in 2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball

Once again Garbage Pail Kids are set for a major appearance in 2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball. This will be the third year in a row with GPKs in the set. Topps today launched preorders for the product via their website. The checklists for both Hobby and Mega boxes was also posted today by Topps on the Bowman Chrome Baseball Launch page. Both checklists show there are 50 cards in the Bowman GPK Insert base set. The checklist features a mix of current stars, past players, and up and coming rookies. The Hobby checklist also lists 40 of those cards that will be autographed by the players. Longtime GPK artist David Gross did all the artwork for the set. Topps has not released odds yet, so information on parallels is not available. It’s expected these will once again be SSPs and case hits in the product. Below are pictures of the cf the checklists. 2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball Hobby boxes are set to launch on 9/9/26, while Mega boxes launch 9/23/26.

Adam Bomb/Nasty Nick to Appear in 2025 Topps Shoebox Treasures

Once again some of the Garbage Pail Kids are invading a baseball set. Both Adam Bomb and Nasty Nick appear on the checklist for 2025 Topps Shoebox Treasures by Andy Friedman. The set, primarily baseball players, features all watercolor artwork from Andy Friedman. There are also a handful of non-sports subject including in the set, including GPK mainstays Adam Bomb and Nasty Nick. The Adam Bomb card is being used by Topps to promote the set. While Topps has released the checklist, they haven’t released odds yet. There a chance the cards will also be available in a number of parallels. The set also looks to be giving away the original paintings form the set, as both GPK characters also appear on the 1/1 Original Paintings checklist. No other details including pricing have been revealed yet by Topps. According to their website, the product will be an available Aug. 28, 2025.

Adam Bomb & Nasty Nick Make Appearance in 2024 Topps Dynamic Duals Baseball

You never know where Adam Bomb and Nasty Nick will show up! Thanks to collector Rob White for being the first to point this out. Topps has added the iconic Garbage Pail Kids duo to their 2024 Topps MLB Dynamic Duals baseball release. This online only release originally went on sale on 6/10 on Topps website and sold out within mins. The unannounced card features Adam Bomb and Nasty Nick on the front. The back of the card is numbered SP-4, and explains the card is a non-baseball short print. The card does not appear on the official checklist for the set. Not much else is known about the card. It’s unknown if any other GPKs are featured in the set. Odds for Short Print cards are also unknown. It’s also unknown if there are parallel versions of the card in the product. So far only a handful have appeared on eBay.
