Philly Non-Sports Card Show Set for Historic Show #80

Summer is the season for cons and card shows. Once again, kicking things off is the 80th Philly Non-Sports Card Show. The show is schedule for May 18 & 19 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA-Hall B. This historic anniversary show is shaping up to be their biggest ever. In fact, the show will be taking place in a larger hall than previous shows. Garbage Pail Kids will once again have a huge influence on the show.

The show is highlighted by numerous GPK artists set to be in attendance. Former GPK artist James Warhola, current GPK artists Joe Simko and David Gross, and GPK sketch artist Ryan Harris will all be there to meet with fans and sell their exclusive artwork. Additionally, non-sports artists Ted Dastick Jr. and media guest Gary Garani will be in attendance.

There will be plenty of promo cards for collectors to get their hands on at the show. Adam Versary 1a will be passed out to collectors Saturday, while Billy Blast 1b will be handed out on Sunday. Metal versions of this Neil Camera card will be passed out on Sunday at the show. Joe Simko will also be selling a licensed promo card at his booth that’s limited to /100. Other free non-sport promo cards at the show include a Promo for Craniacs Series 1 from Simko and Ira Friedman, Legend of the Jersey Devil from Dasick Jr. Spellcasters IV from Perma Studios, and two promos from Ed Webb. There will be other promos as well that haven’t been announced yet. The customary Saturday dinner is already booked for this event. Collectors that already have reserved their spot will receive a surprise promo card and a chance to win some great prizes.

The show will be open on Saturday May 18 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Sunday May 19 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Tickets will be available at the door for $12 per day or a two day pass for $20. Collectors shouldn’t miss their chance to meet artists, chat with other collectors, and add to their collections!
