Among a large list of upcoming Funko products are listings for four GPK characters. The characters listed are; Adam Bomb, Beastly(sp!) Boyd, Clark Can’t, and Ghastly Ashley. The figures have not been officially announced by Funko yet. No other info such as pictures, pricing, or release dates is available. 2018 is already shaping up to be another busy year in GPKs.

Creepy Co. Teases Next Wave of GPK Merchandise
After acquiring a license from Topps to produce GPK themed merchandise earlier this year, Creepy Co. started out strong with enamel pins, buttons, and puffy stickers in their first wave of merchandise. Now Creepy Co. is back, as they have been teasing multiple new products on their social media channels beginning yesterday. So what can we expect this round? According to their posts this morning one product will be a remake of Imperial’s Zipper Pulls from the 1980’s. The company says they will launch 12 zipper pulls in blind bag form starting this Thursday at 7:00 PM Central Time. Here is the post from Instagram with a pictures of the zipper pulls.
What else does Creepy have in store? While the company is slowly revealing what they will have, there are some clues they’ve posted. First here is their first post from yesterday with an Adam Bomb feel to it. Within the post they’ve added the hashtag #enemalpins. Could more pins be on the way?
Finally Creepy Posted a couple of very interesting Instagram Stories yesterday. Very short, less than 10 second clips. In one clip we see a foot with some Garbage Pail Kids socks! Another post shows what appears to be a case full of boxes that look like Original Series 2 boxes, when the mystery hand picks them up there is a Creepy Co. logo on the back. The Box itself has “Collectors Boxed Set” written on the side and front. Let the guessing begin! Here are some pictures from those stories.
Update: Creepy Co. posted tonight on social media that GPK jackets featuring Adam Bomb will also be offered Thursday.
Mob-Grip Launches GPK Skateboard Grip Tape
So you have your brand new Garbage Pail Kids themed Santa Cruz skateboard deck, and you are ready to ride! You are going to need some grip tape! Mob-Grip has launched officially licensed Garbage Pail Kids grip tape. Like Santa Cruz, Mob-Grip is owned by NFS Inc. The company is offering 5 different classic OS 1 characters for purchase. Characters offered are; Adam Bomb, Tee-Vee Stevie, Electric Bill, Dead Ted, and Boozin’ Bruce. The tape measures 9″ x 33″ and features the classic artwork with straight Garbage Pail Kids banner, and classic name plate.
It appears two online skateboard companies began offering the tape this weekend on their websites, only for the listings to sell out quickly, and disappear. However, online retailer The Dark Slide, shows a listing for the tape with a “Coming Soon” label. The tape appears to retail for $11.99 per character. (Update: Price is now higher at $14.95. If buying from The Dark Slide you can use discount code GPK10off until 11/1.) The NFS Inc. B2B site also has pictures of the grip tape with the SKU #. I’ve reached out to the manufacture for more information, I’ll update this post with anything I find out. Keep your eyes open online and in skateboard shops around the country if you are interested in adding this to you collection.
Update: The Mob-Grip Brand Manager reaches out to GPK News to confirm that this is indeed an officially licensed product. The GPK themed grip tape officially launches on 10/23 in skate stores around the country.
