GetAGrip Launching Garbage Pail Kids Skateboard Wheels Series 3 this Friday

GetAGrip Skateboards begin teasing their upcoming launch of their Garbage Pail Kids Skateboard Wheels Series 3. Series 3 you ask? What happened to series 2? Much like other companies in the US, they have had problems getting goods from overseas. According to the company, the series 2 wheels have been sitting on a ship in the ocean for months now. However, their series 3 wheels somehow made it through. Instead of waiting to release them in order, the company has decided to launch the series 3 wheels now. The launch is scheduled for this Friday, 11/26/21. There are no other details about the product available. The company’s MO is to release very little information on their products. Based on previous releases collectors can expect rare wheels, and unannounced special parallel wheels. Collectors will want to stay glued to their Facebook page for any updates prior to the launch.

Topps Reveals Print Run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays March Week 4

After ending earlier today, Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays March Week 4. The set couldn’t quite keep the GPK hot streak alive. Total sales for the set ended at 542 copies. Those numbers are right in line with what the other Bizarre Holidays sets were selling for back in March. Sales of the final set in the year long series were put on hold when Topps sent GPKs to timeout after a controversial BTS themed card was put up for sale. Collectors who stuck with the set through the entire year finally are now finally able to finish off their binders!

Topps Delays Garbage Pail Kids Chrome OS 4

After announcing delays for 2021S2 GPK on Vacation last week, Topps today announced 2021 Garbage Pail Kids Chrome OS 4 is also delayed. According to Topps, the set is now scheduled for “January TBD”. Only one Topps product has a release date in January, with eight being moved to TBD. At this point Topps doesn’t have a good handle on exactly when the set will release. The move was fully expected, as Topps has had numerous problems throughout the past year getting products printed due to the Covid Pandemic and increased demand for trading cards. GPK Chrome 4 was originally planned to release in November, but was quickly changed to 12/31/21 just after the product was announced. Topps will continue the update the release date as they get clearer information from their printers.
