Series 3 Garbage Pail Kids Die-Cast Cars Announced from Greenlight

Update 3/17 – The link on 3000toys.com now points to a Norman Rockwell set, and not GPK. It would appear either 3000toys jumped the gun on something, or just make an error. If more information is released, we will update. Thanks to James Berger for the heads up!

Die-cast retailer 3000toys.com has posted a pre-order for the next round of toy cars from Greenlight Collectibles. Garbage Pail Kids Series 3 Die-Cast cars will once again feature 6 new cars packaged with a GPK card. Details on the release are scarce. No pictures or info on the names of the cards was revealed. The cars this time around will be 1939 Chevrolet Panel Truck, 1955 Chevrolet Nomad, 1956 Ford F-100, 1968 Ford Club Wagon, 1971 Chevrolet Corvette, and 1972 Volkswagen Type 2 Double Cab Pickup. Rare Green Machine variations will be inserted randomly in the release. This third series of cars is scheduled for a July/Aug release.

FYE Launches Garbage Pail Kids Cereal Bar

FYE is back with the latest GPK consumable. FYE stores today begun selling Garbage Pail Kids Cereal Bars. The packaging advertises them as Crazy Crisps with Marshmellow Barf Bits. Retail price in the store is $7.99. Thanks to Collector Brad Lenheim who was first to spot these in the wild. The bars look very much like the cereal launched last year. Most likely you will be able to find these in stores across the country and online soon.
