Adam Bomb Mis-Fortune Telling Machine Finds Temporary Home

Adam Bomb will be sharing his mis-fortunes with the fine folks of Algonquin, IL. The Adam Bomb Mis-Fortune Telling Machine, that is a partnership with Topps and ToyNK, will be taking up residency at the Bowlero family entertainment center in Algonquin, IL. The machine is setup now and ready to dispense its wisdom to all until the end of the year. Bowlero is a bowling center with arcade games and sports bar. The machine made its debut earlier this year at the New York Comic Con, with another appearance at the Motor City Comic Con. The machine dispenses one of 10 collectible GPK cards for a fee. It’s expected Topps will continue to use the machine throughout 2023 for promotional purposes. Collectors in the area can now grab a beer, bowl a few frames, and have Adam Bomb give you your mis-fortune!

Adam Bomb Takes on New York Toy Fair

Late last year Topps promised we would see Adam Bomb attend conventions and toy fairs this year to help promote the 35th anniversary of the Garbage Pail Kids. Today, Adam Bomb made his public debut. Adam Bomb along with GPK artist Joe Simko attended this weekend’s New York Toy Fair and hit the show floor! The New York Toy Fair is a trade show, where toy industry people gather to show off their products for the upcoming year. It would appear Adam Bomb and Simko where there representing Topps and some of the various licensees. Adam Bomb made an appearance at both the Super7 and Greenlight booths at the show. He even stopped for a meet and greet and passed out autographs on an exclusive card. The card features Adam Bomb on the front with a sticker “autograph”. The back of the card features the 35th anniversary logo, and states the card is an appearance exclusive. No word yet if these will continue to be passed out throughout the year as Adam Bomb continues his tour.
