GPKNation Launching Next Adam Bomb Coin Series

Have you been keeping up with all the coins and pins available at GPKNation? The company has been keeping collectors busy the last few months with numerous releases each week. They show no signs of slowing down. Collectors will soon be able to add to their challenge coin collection with the launch of their next coin series, the Triple Bomb coin. Once again, GPK artist Joe Simko has done the artwork on the latest officially licensed coin to feature Adam Bomb. Launches for the first three parallel colors were announced by the company today. Gray will be available July 17th at 2:00 PM EST. White will be available the following day July 18th at 2:00 PM EST. The Pink & Gray version goes on sale July 20th at 2:00 PM EST. Each coin will be numbered /50. All coins can be purchased at GPKNation.com.   The company has other projects they’ve launched recently that are still available like the mini card coin and pins, as well as the large Mac Axe stand up coin set.

Topps Reveals Print Run for Project 70 Adam Bomb x Mike Trout Mashup

Last week, as part of their year long Project 70 set, Topps released a card that featured an iconic baseball player and an iconic Garbage Pail Kids character. Today they revealed the print run for Project 70 card 357 Mike Trout by Ermsy. The card sold a total of 10,687 copies. This marks the 6th highest selling Project 70 card to date. The combination of Mike Trout and Adam Bomb brought out collectors from both sides to push sales towards the top. There’s still a long way to go in the baseball season, could GPK’s make another appearance in the set?

Atomic Toybox to Launch Four GPK Pins at SDCC At Home

Atomic Toybox will be launching four new glow in the dark pins at this years SDCC At Home event. With The 2021 San Diego Comic Con being held once again at home, companies are announcing their exclusive offers for the event later this month. This will be the second year in a row Atomic Toybox has offered pins for the event. This years pins will include; Adam Boom, Blasted Billy, Fryin Ryan, and Charred Chad. The glow in the dark effect will be slightly different for the characters. The Adam and Chad pins will glow greenish, while the Billy and Ryan will glow reddish. The pins will be limited to 200 of each character. Each pin will also include an exclusive Fryin Ryan vs.  Adam Boom trading card. The back of the card features a checklist for the pins. Atomic Toybox will also be selling their new bathroom coloring book, Alien Browns from Uranus. Each pin will cost $14.95 and will be available for purchase starting July 23rd at 9:00 AM PST on their Atomic-Nerd website.

Topps Launches Project 70 Adam Bomb Mike Trout Mashup

Adam Bomb gets to play with a major baseball star in Topps latest mashup of properties. Today Topps Launched Project 70 Card #357 Mike Trout by Ermsy. Project 70 is an online only project where numerous artists are creating original pieces depicting baseball players in various forms. The artist Ermsy created today’s Mike Trout card which includes Garbage Pail Kids character Adam Bomb on the card. There are various versions of the card for sale. Collectors can order the base version of the card for $19.99 each, in a lot of 5 for $82.49, or a lot of 10 for $144.99. When ordering collectors have the chance of receiving the Rainbow Foil version of the card which is numbered to /70 or a Gold 1/1 version. The listing also advertises Foil numbered /27 will be given away. There is also a silver bordered Artist Proof version handed numbered to /51 available for $199. There is a version autographed by Mike Trout /70 is available for $399. Finally someone was able to purchase the 1/1 autographed by Mike Trout for $2999. Free shipping is available when choosing the SmartPost option. The cards are available for 3 days on Topps.com. Topps will reveal the print run of the base card after sales end.

Topps Launches Garbage Pail Kids Trashy Treasures Series 3

Topps today dropped a surprise with the launch of Garbage Pail Kids Trashy Treasures Series 3. There are five new figures in the series; Nasty Nick, Bony Tony, Sewer Sue, Michael Mutant, and Guillo Tina. Each figure measures between 3 1/4” and 3 1/2” tall. In addition to the base figures, collectors who order can receive one of the colored parallels; red (most common), green (common), black (rare), silver (very rare), gold 1/1. Each figure also comes with a card. The figures are available for $19.99 on Topps.com, while supplies last. Shipping is not free on these. Here are pictures of the figures and cards.

Super7 Announces 2021 SDCC Adam Bomb Reaction Figure

Once again there will be an at home version of the San Diego Comic Con in 2021. Companies are already planning their at home exclusives to the show. As first reported by GPKWorld, Super7 announced their show exclusives today that include a GPK figure. The Adam Bomb Reaction figure will be featured once again, this time in a red suit. This version of the figure will be available for preorder on July 21st at 12:00 PST at Super7’s website. The figure will cost $20 before shipping. Expect other companies to announced SDCC exclusives in the next couple of weeks.

FYE Launches Garbage Pail Kids Candy Bars

What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than with candy! After being teased a few weeks ago, FYE has launched two new Garbage Pail Kids candy bars in stores. Thanks to GPK collector Trenton McAnally for sending along pictures of these available in his local store. The Drippy Skippy Bar is a milk chocolate with peanut butter filling. While the Cotton Kandy Bar is a cotton candy flavored confection. FYE previously launched two other candy bars back in 2019. The bars retail for $3.99 in store.

Simon & Schuster Announce Garbage Pail Kids The Official Tarot Deck and Guidebook

What does the future hold for GPKs? Perhaps collectors will be able to answer that very question by using the upcoming Garbage Pail Kids: The Official Deck & Guidebook. This officially licensed kit gives you everything you need to start your own tarot readings. The kit contains 78 cards featuring new takes on classic characters like Adam Bomb, Spacey Stacy, and Rob Slob, as well as some brand new characters. All the art for the cards was completed by GPK artist Miran Kim. Kim did GPK finals starting with the 30th anniversary set in 2015, through 2019S1 We Hate the 90’s set. Topps Delivers Garbage Pail Kids Collector’s Club Set 2

It’s been three months since the first Garbage Pail Kids Collector’s Club set shipped, so it’s time for set two. Members of the Club started receiving shipping notices last week, and sets begin showing up in mail boxes today. Thanks to Chotckie Chuck from GPKNation for sending along pictures. The second set is titled The Brainy Bunch. Each card features Brainy Janie somewhere on the card interacting with her classmates. The set features 20 cards, 10 new pieces with a/b versions. Artwork was completed by artists Joe Simko, David Gross, Brent Engstrom, Joe McWilliams, and Neil Camera. The quarterly gift included with the set are two GPK flower pots with seeds. Yes you read that right, club members get to grow their own flowers. The pot features the GPK Collector Club logo on them. See below for pictures of the cards and gifts. Topps Reveals Print Run for Garbage Pail Kids x Complexland Online Set

After a nearly three break from selling GPKs online, collectors were ready to purchase the latest offering from Topps. Today Topps revealed the print run for 2021 Garbage Pail Kids x Complexland. The set sold a total of 1,071 copies. The set was created for last week’s Complexland Virtual Con. The sales results are solid for GPK and in line with online sales from earlier this year. Collectors now will wait to see if Topps finishes up the Bizarre Holidays series and what the next GPK offerings will be.
