GetAGrip Launches Blind Bag Garbage Pail Kids Junk Jewelry

GetAGrips last launch during Gross Card Card is the Garbage Pail Kids Junk Jewelry blind bags. Collectors have the chance of getting four different rings in various colors and rarities. There are Fool’s Gold, Fresh Chrome, and Space Black rare parallels. Each mystery capsule can be purchased from GetAGrip’s website for $12.99. The company says rings will be shipping soon.

GetAGrip Launches Garbage Pail Kids Cheap Toy Pack

In their second day of drops during the Gross Card Con show, today GetAGrip launched the second color wave of their Garbage Pail Kids Cheap Toy John Pound figure. Collectors purchasing the pack get a red, yellow, and blue figure, along with a blue card variant. Packs can be purchased at GetAGrip’s website for $24.99. The company says the figures will be shipping soon.

GetAGrip Launches Garbage Pail Kids TV Tray & Cup Sets

As part of this weekend’s Gross Card Con celebration, GetAGrip wants to included everyone, even if they can’t attend the show. Today the company launched two Garbage Pail Kids TV Tray and Cup sets. Collectors can choose between the Adam Bomb Tray and Nasty Nick Cuo, or the Nasty Nick Cup and Adam Bomb Tray. These are similar to the trays and cups included in the show exclusive Bukimi Meal, just difference subjects. Each set can be purchased from GetAGrip’s website for $29.99. The company says the items will be shipping soon. Stay tuned and the company will have more items available Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 PM EST.

Greenlight Launching GPK 40th Anniversary Die Cast Car

Update – Greenlight has shared the final images for the Buck Truck diecast car that is part of the King of Crunch Series 6 release. The inclusion also helps to celebrate the 40th anniversary of GPKs. The truck is larger than previous GPK cars from Greenlight at 1:43. There doesn’t appear to be any cards that come with this one. Like everything else GPK form Greenlight, the release date is currently TBD.

Greenlight Collectibles have announced a new monster truck to help celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Garbage Pail Kids. Greenlight’s King of Crunch Series 6 will feature Buck Truck – Garbage Pail Kids 40th Anniversary – 1976 Ford F-250 Monster Truck. This same truck was part of their Series 1 Die Cast cars. However, the King of Crunch series features the larger 1:43 scale trucks. It’s unknown if there will be an accompanying card with this version. No pictures of the truck have been revealed yet by Greenlight. The expected launch for this 40th anniversary truck is Oct/Nov 2025.

Greenlight Announces Garbage Pail Kids Series 9 Diecast Cars

Update: Greenlight has shared the final images for the Series 9 GPK Die-cast cars. These all celebrate the 40th anniversary of GPK. Four of the cars come with cards that feature artwork being used all year to celebrate the 40th. The release date for series 9, much like series 8 is still TBD.


Greenlight continues to announce new products for GPK. Sometime over the past couple of weeks the company announced Garbage Pail Kids Series 9 diecast car set. 3000toys.com has listing up now to preorder the cars. The series contains six new GPK themed cars, along with an accompanying GPK card. Adam Bomb and Nasty Nick highlight the characters used in the series. Here is the list of cars along with their accompanying card.

• Adam Bomb – 1972 Bronco BAJA
• Dead Ted – 2019 Ram ProMaster 2500
• Leaky Lindsay – 1955 Chevrolet Nomad
• Nasty Nick – 1957 Plymouth Savoy
• Lily No Problema – Classic Volkswagen Beetle
• Uncanny Ali – 1970 Ford Econoline

As usual, there will be random Green Machine limited cars inserted into cases for collectors to hunt. No pictures of the cars have been released yet. According to 3000toys the launch date for this and all other GPK Greenlight products has been changed to “uncertain”. This includes the Series 8 cars, and the 1:43 Buck Truck which is part of the Kings of Crunch series.

PSA Celebrating 40th Anniversary of Garbage Pail Kids

PSA, the leading card grading company, is joining the 40th anniversary celebration of the Garbage Pail Kids. The company announced today that the October edition of PSA Magazine will feature GPK! Both the Sports Club and Non-Sports Club will feature different covers with artwork done by David Gross. Standard magazine subscribers ($149/year) will get a cover. Premium subscribers ($199/year) will also receive an officially licensed promo card, also done by David Gross. To receive one of these covers you must be join the club prior to 8/31/25.

Bonus Cards Revealed for Abrams Garbage Pail Kids 40th Book Re-release

As announced back in March, Abrams Books is rereleasing their popular Garbage Pail Kids OS1-OS5 reference book to celebrate the 40th anniversary of GPKs. While the book is the same, it will contain brand new bonus cards. Artist Brent Engstrom revealed the cards via his Instagram account this weekend.  The four cards all feature classic OS characters celebrating the 40th anniversary with new artwork. Cards include, Adam Bomb (Art by David Gross), Nasty Nick (Brent Engstrom), Leaky Lindsay (Joe Simko), and Dead Ted (Joe McWilliams). Collectors should expect this artwork to show up in multiple spots throughout the year, The David Gross Adam Bomb card has already been shown as part of the Greenlight SDCC car. The book can be preordered now anywhere books are sold. The Garbage Pail Kids 40th Anniversary Edition is set to release Oct. 14, 2025.

Thrilljoy Announces Garbage Pail Kids PIX! Adam Bomb Figure

Thrilljoy is entering the GPK arena. The company lead by former Funko CEO, Brian Moriotti, has announced new Garbage Pail Kids figures for this year’s San Diego Comic Con. The company will be offering a Garbage Pail Kids Adam Bomb PIX! figure at their booth (#4845) and online. The figure comes blind boxed with the either the main Adam Bomb figure, a Dead Ted Chase figure (1:6), and a 40th Anniversary Adam Bomb Super Chase (limited to 48 pieces). Super Chase odds have not been revealed. Each figure also comes with a certificate of authenticity in the form of a collector’s card. The boxes state the figure is limited to 6000 pieces. Figures can be purchased at the company’s booth or online beginning on 7/23 for $19.99 each. The company has a landing page on their website site now for the figures. There are a few new GPK items planned for this year’s SDCC which takes place 7/23-7/27 at the San Diego Convention Center.

GetAGrip Launches OS8-OS11 Sorting Mats

GetAGrip is back with another early offer to Birthday Bash Club members. The company is launching OS8-OS11 versions of their popular sorting mats. Members of the Adam Bomb 40th Birthday Bash were sent an email today with links to purchase each of the sorting mats. Each mat measures 31.5” x 24”. The mats is available to purchase for $39.99. Birthday Club members get a 24 hour head start to purchase the mats before they go on sale to the general public at 1:00 PM EST on 7/11. In a post advertising the mats, GetAGrip says they will be limited to /50 copies and only on sale for 48 hours. The last batch sold out quickly, so don’t delay!
