Veteran Garbage Pail Kids Artist Dustin Graham shared examples of the sketches he drew for the upcoming 2016 GPK American as Apple Pie In Your Face set. Dustin shared the photos via his artist Facebook page, Wacky Graham’s Garbage. These are just some examples of the sketches you can pull in the next set due out Jan. 20th.

A handful of new artists for the next Garbage Pail Kids set, (2016 Garbage Pail Kids American as Apple Pie In Your Face), have started showing some of their sketch cards for the set. All pictures below courtesy of the artist’s Facebook page.
First up Chad Scheres shows a peek at some color sketches.
Next is Sean Norvet showing off a fully loaded sketch.
Finally Cecilia Granata shows off one half of the duel artist sketch she worked on.
In addition new artist Robert Jimenez mentioned he would be able to share his work soon. The next GPK series is set to release Jan. 20, 2016.

The folks from Super Toy Con Las Vegas announced that as part of their 2016 Con there will be a GPK-Con held in conjunction with the Toy Show. The convention takes please Aug 5 – Aug 7, 2016 at the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas. There will be many events centered around Garbage Pail Kids planned including; Artist Seminar, Bowling event, Trading zone, Autographs, etc. Four GPK artists have already been announced, (Simko, Engstrom, Pingitore, and Camera), with more to come. With the release of the 30th Anniversary set for next week, new GPK artist Chenduz shared some of the sketches he drew for the set on his Facebook page.
GPK collector Brian Martin showed off what might be the first IDW GPK sketch card. Brian had the artist do a custom one for him. The artist stated most likely these would be available on IDW’s website in the future. So it looks like these won’t in inserted in the Micro Comic packs.
Fright-rags.com will be offering pre-orders on their next batch of shirts. The shirts feature officially licensed art drawn by Garbage Pail Kids artist Brent Engstrom. If I’m not mistaken this is the sec don batch of GPK shirts Fright Rags has done. If you are interested pre-orders start on May 27th right here.
The picture below showed up on Facebook recently. Interesting….are the IDW GPK Comic Book artists doing sketches for the upcoming June Comic? If anyone has more info on this post below in Comments section.
