Yesterday via their Facebook page, GreenLight Collectibles shared the deco sample images for the upcoming Garbage Pail Kids Series 2 die-cast cars. Once again the upcoming cars will come with cards. The first 5 are all reprints, but the 6th is a brand new character, with artwork completed by GPK artist Joe Simko. The cars are available for pre-order now via many online dis-cast car websites. They will be in stores in March 2020.

Greenlight Reveals First Images of Series 2 Garbage Pail Kids Diecast Cars
Greenlight Collectibles today revealed the flat artwork for their upcoming Series 2 Garbage Pail Kids Diecast cars. While the images don’t show the final artwork, it gives collectors a good idea of the color schemes and what the cars will look like. Also included in the pictures are the cards that will come with each car. The Unaware Aaron card from the Taxi is brand new artwork completed by GPK artist Joe Simko. The cars are expected to hit retailers in Feb. 2020. Here’s the checklist along with artwork.

Details on Greenlight Garbage Pail Kids Series 2 Diecast Cars
New details have emerged on the Series 2 Garbage Pail Kids Discast Cars from Greenlight Collectibles. According to the website 3000toys.com, there will once again be six cars in the series. It looks ike Greelight is going with five established characters and possibly one new one, that is still to be announced. Here are the names of the cards and the type of corresponding cars.

3000toys.com also mentioned the Green Machine chase cars will again be inertly randomly into cases. No other info has been revealed yet on the cars. Release dates vary from website to website, anywhere from Feb. – Spring 2020 has been mentioned. Pre-orders are open now on various die cast websites.
Greenlight Collectibles to Produce Series 2 Garbage Pail Kids Die-Cast Cars
According to one of the largest online retailers of die-cast cars, Greenlight Collectibles will be producing a Garbage Pail Kids Series 2 of their die-cast cars. Diecast Direct has a pre-order listing up on their website for the set. Like the first series there will be six cars in series 2. There isn’t much else in the way of information. No details about the cars is listed. According to the site the 1:64 scale cars will launch in Feb. 2020. Expect more info soon on the upcoming series. Greenlight Releases Pictures of Packaging for GPK Die-Cast Cars
Images have begun surfacing online of the package samples for the upcoming Garbage Pail Kids Series 1 die-cast cars from Greenlight Collectibles. As expected the packaging features Junky Jeff as the mascot. Each package comes with a die-cast car and GPK sticker. Clutch Kyle is a brand new painting, while the others are previous characters. This also makes the first time images of the monster truck have been released. Previously Greenlight hadn’t released those images. All six cars are expected to launch in Aug. 2019.
GreenLight Shares New Photos of Upcoming GPK Diecast Cars
GreenLight Collectibles has been hard at work at their upcoming Garbage Pail Kids Series 1 die cast cars. The company officially announced the cars a few weeks back and we have a lot of that info already up on the site. Today GreenLight released what they call the “deco sample” images of most of the cars. These 3d images show a little more of the artwork that will be on the cars. Many of the cars have what appears to be the accompanying cards painted on their hoods, while other cards have various other GPK logos and images. Images for five of the cars were released, the monster truck image has yet to be updated from the flat artwork.
Each car also comes with a sticker. Five of the six are reprints, however there will be one new card. The Clutch Clint painting by Joe Simko is used for the 2012 Dodge Challenger. All images of the cards that will come in the packages are shown in these pictures as well. The cars are available for pre-order at various online die cast retailers. They are expected to launch sometime in Aug. 2019.
Greenlight Shares More Info on Garbage Pail Kids Die-cast Cars
After weeks of teasers from online retailers, Greenlight Collectibles today finally officially announced their partnership with Topps. Greenlight Collectibles Garbage Pail Kids Series 1 will be a 6 car set of 1:64 GPK themed die cast vehicles. In the release from the company they describe the car set, “GreenLight is bringing back some of the most famous GPK stickers with vehicle tie-ins later in 2019, with a 6-vehicle set designed to draw out the automotive relationship between GPK and their fans!”
As part of the release, Greenlight released the flat artwork for the cars. Some of the pictures show bits of artwork making the cars themed GPK. A spokesperson for the company tells GPKNews that there will be additional artwork on the license plates, bumpers, hoods, etc. The flat artwork released doesn’t yet show all the details. Expect final pictures of the cars as the release nears.
The company confirmed that the packaging will feature Junky Jeff as the logo. Additionally, each package will come with one GPK sticker. Five cars will feature past GPK characters with vehicle tie-ins, while the 2012 Dodge Challenger will come with a brand new sticker with artwork painted by GPK artist Joe Simko.
Finally, randomly inserted into cases of the product will be the “green machines”. These are the chase cars for the company. These are cars that feature green traits on the cars, like green bodies, green chassis, green tires, etc. The company has not yet revealed the rarity of the green machine chase cars.
The cars are already available to pre-order from various online retailers. Greenlight Collectibles Garbage Pail Kids Series 1 die-cast car set is set to be released this August. Here is the checklist of cars along with their “GPK” name.

GreenLight Collectibles to Offer GPK Die-Cast Cars in 2019
GreenLight Collectibles, a company that specializes in both custom and licensed die-cast cars will be offering an officially licensed GPK themed line of cars coming later this year. The website ZA3collectibles.com has a mock-up image of the packaging. Two packages are shown. One is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am themed after the Riot Festus GPK card. The second is a 1974 Ford F-250 Monster Truck based off the Buck Truck GPK card. The packaging states this is Series 1 of the “Limited Edition” cars. The packaging also comes with a peel-able sticker. GPKNews reached out to GreenLight for comment. The company confirmed the license deal with Topps, and said they would have more information at a later date. According to ZA3Collectibles the cars will be launching in the Fall of 2019.
