As we enter the third month of bizarre holidays sets, Topps saw a steady increase in sales throughout May. Could the streak continue? Yesterday Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays June Week 1. The set sold a total of 478 copies. This is down from last week’s high by over 100 copies. This sales level returns to early May before the recent gains. Will be interesting to see how sales progress throughout June.

Topps Launches Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays June Week 2

The ode to daily holidays continues to march on. Today Topps launched Garbage Pail Kids  Bizarre Holidays June Week 2. This week’s set contains the usual 10 cards, 5 new paintings with a/b versions. Each set also comes with 1 purple parallel card. Once again only 3 artists, Joe Simko, Brent Engstrom, and Neil Camera, crested the art for this weeks’s set. Each set can be purchased for $19.99 or in a lot of 10 for $179.99. There are also 10 x 14 posters available for $19.99. Shipping is free when choosing the SmartPost option. Topps Asks Collectors To Help Pick Characters for 35th Set

Today, on the official Garbage Pail Kids Facebook page they, Topps began asking collectors to help them pick characters for the Garbage Pail Kids Series 2 35th Anniversary set. According to the retail sell sheet, there is a Fan Favorites insert set that will be found in retail Fat Packs. Collectors will pull 2 cards per pack. Topps is looking for the top 10 vote getters from their survey for the set. The survey asks collectors for their 3 favorite garbage pail kids, when they started collecting, and their favorite memory. No info is listed for how long the survey will be available, so vote now to have input on the next set! Garbage Pail Kids Series 2 35th Anniversary is set to hit store shelves Sept. 23, 2020.

It feels like so long ago since Tiger King was released on Netflix, despite it only being two months ago. The love for the docuseries continues. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Gone Exotic 3. The set sold a total of 1,193 copies. The sales number is a couple of hundred less than set 2, but still excellent results for an online GPK set. Only a few of this years political GPKs could rival this in sales. This set marks the end of line for Tiger King sets, or does it? While this might be the end of physical cards, the rumors making the rounds is Gone Exotic GPKs might be making an appearance as the next WAX digital card set. Nothing official to report from either company, just some hints being dropped from WAX on various podcasts. Regardless, this set, the brain child of artist David Gross, will go down as one of the best selling online GPK sets.

The set can be purchased for $19.99 or in a lot of 10 for $179.99. 10×14 posters of each card are also available for $19.99. Shipping is free when choosing the SmartPost option. Topps Reveals Print Run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays Week 5

Sales for the last holiday set of May ended earlier today, and sales continue to rise. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays May Week 5. The set sold a total of 600 copies. The gradual rise in sales for the holiday sets continued. The 600 total is a new high for any of the Bizarre Holiday sets, moving past the first set in April. Topps has planned to continue the holiday sets in June. However, no sales were posted today on Topps’ website. Instead Topps released a statement on all their social channels and their website denouncing racism and pledging to stand with those who are peacefully protesting inequality, racism, and injustice. No word from Topps when new online sets will launch.
