Topps once again offered no promotion for their appearance at this year’s New York Comic Con, but nevertheless Garbage Pail Kids are featured in a big way at their booth. Thanks to GPK collector Adam Marks for sending along pictures of the show! Like last year, there is a tour show goers can go through at their booth that has card history and quizzes. At the end of the tour collectors can win a GPK prize either; packs of GPK Kids At Play, Intergoolatic, or one GPK themed pin. The pins are a new item. There are five pins total, Adam Bomb, Dead Ted, Hot Head Harvey, Semi Colin, and a NYCC themed pin.
Topps is also selling GPK t-shirts featuring brand new artwork at the show. Shirts are being sold for $40 each in specific time frames at the Topps booth. The shirt done by David Gross can be purchased from 10 AM – 12 PM, the Brent Engstrom shirt from 1 PM – 3PM, and the Chris Meeks shirt from 5 PM – 7 PM.
