Topps today launched their latest video series set based on the GPK mini animated videos. While there was no video on March, Topps got April started off in a big way. The “GPK Rocks” video once again features the Funko GPK characters, this time at a rock concert. The music in the video is Dr. Chud’s, “We’re the Garbage Pail Kids”, which originally appeared in the GPK 30th documentary movie. GPK artist Joe Simko supplies a Coronavirus PSA at the end of the video.
The accompanying card set, Garbage Pail Kids “GPK Rocks” Video Series Set 3, was also launched today. The set features 5 cards with still shots from the video. Each set can be purchased for $9.99. Shipping is free when choosing the SmartPost option. The set will be available for 30 days on topps.com. Topps will reveal the print run at the end of the sale.
