Topps is taking a breather from political sets for a bit. Today they launched their latest online set, Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays April Week 1. The cards all feature gags using OS characters based on all the daily bizarre holidays in April. The card backs have the date and name of the holiday being celebrated. This week’s 10 card set features 5 new paintings with a/b versions. Artwork for the set was done by Brent Engstrom, Joe Simko, David Gross, Joe McWilliams, and Neil Camera. The current plan is to continue the set for the next 4 weeks, with all five artists doing one card per week. The set can be purchased for $19.99 each or in a lot of 10 for $179.99. Shipping is free using the SmartPost option. The set is available on topps.com for 7 days. Topps will reveal the print run at the end of the sale.
