Update: Topps today launched 2026 Garbage Pail Kids Valentine’s Say set. Topps released the missing info left out of their teaser page from last week. Both single box and cases options weee offered at 2:00 PM EST. Cases showed sold out immediately, while single boxes sold out within five minutes. Box structure was must like last year’s Valentine’s set. Boxes contain three 8-card packs, while cases contain 10 boxes. Boxes were priced at $60, and cases at $600. Each pack has 6 base cards, 1 red heart parallel, and one “hit”. A hit can be a sketch card, foil parallel, C Name, GPK Comic, or Black Heart variation.
Topps also released odds for the set. You can find the odds in PDF here. Sketch odds remained the same as last year at 1:9 packs (1:3 boxes). Based on the parallel odds there should be 13,850 packs, or 4,616 boxes available, making production up slightly over the 2025 Valentine’s set. Topps also revealed the sketch artist checklist. A total of 29 artists did sketches for the set. All were GPK veterans, no rookies this time. You can find the artist checklist on PDF here. Base card artwork was done by Brent Engstrom, Joe Simko, David Gross, Joe McWilliams, Neil Camera, and Mike Stephens.
Is that love in the air, or just garbage? Today, Topps announced their 2026 Garbage Pail Kids Valentine’s Day online set. The yearly tradition continues. The blending of online and hobby sets continues as for the first time, Topps has posted a teaser page on their website for the upcoming set. The website advertises there will be a 50 card set, 25 new characters with a/b versions. Much like past Valentine’s sets, there will be parallels and inserts to collect as well. The base cards will have parallels versions in Red Heart (Unnumbered), Pink Heart Foil (/50), Baby Blue Heart (/25), Yellow Heart (/10), Black Heart (/5), and Gold Heart (1/1). Inserts will be C names (25 cards), GPK Comics (10 Cards), and Black Heart Variations (10 Cards). Topps also mentions there will be sketch cards. Topps did not reveal how the cards are being distributed, but collectors should assume they will be in packs. Topps did upload the checklist to their website already for the set, you can also view it here. No odds or pricing has been revealed yet. The set goes on sale on Topps’ website next Thursday, 2/12/26 at 2:00 PM EST, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
