After ending yesterday morning, Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays April Week 3. The set sold a total of 474 copies. This is right in line with week 2 sales, slightly higher. Topps is planning to continue full speed ahead with the bizarre holiday online sets into and through May. It’s Tuesday, and that means another installment of the GPK set that celebrates all the odd daily holidays. Today Topps launched Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays April Week 4. Originally Topps planned this set to last 4 weeks, however the new plan is to continue throughout May. So expect to see holiday sets for the next few weeks. This week’s 10 card set features 5 new pieces with a/b versions. Once again, artists Joe Simko, David Gross, Brent Engstrom, Joe McWilliams, and Neil Camera each did one painting. The set is based off of the big cat documentary that debuted during the pandemic on Netflix. The second week of sales are in for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays. The latest online set from Topps saw sales drop a bit in week 2. The 10 card set sold a total of 469 sets. That number is just over 100 less than the first week’s cards. Week 3’s cards are for sale now, with Topps planning the set to continue at least through April.

April Fools got Topps started on a brand new monthly online GPK set. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays Week 1. The set sold a total of 562 copies. That puts it in line with other non-political GPK o lines sets sold earlier this year. Right now the set is currently planned through the end of April, as Topps takes a break from the political sets.

Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Disg-Race to the White House Set 6 Presidential Dropouts
The last political GPK set for a while saw a large drop in sales from previous sets. Today, Topps revealed the print run for GPK Disg-Race to the White House Set 6 Presidential Dropouts. The set sold a total of 1,062 copies. This is a large drop from all the previous sets in the series. The nearly 40% drop in sales makes this the lowest selling of the presidential sets. With that being said, over 1000 in sales are still really good results for Topps. It remains to be seen if the reason for lower sales was due to collectors reducing their spending or tiring of the political sets. Topps will take a break from political sets for a bit while the country handles the coronavirus pandemic.
Topps Launches Garbage Pail Kids “GPK Rocks” Video Series Set 3
Topps today launched their latest video series set based on the GPK mini animated videos. While there was no video on March, Topps got April started off in a big way. The “GPK Rocks” video once again features the Funko GPK characters, this time at a rock concert. The music in the video is Dr. Chud’s, “We’re the Garbage Pail Kids”, which originally appeared in the GPK 30th documentary movie. GPK artist Joe Simko supplies a Coronavirus PSA at the end of the video.
The accompanying card set, Garbage Pail Kids “GPK Rocks” Video Series Set 3, was also launched today. The set features 5 cards with still shots from the video. Each set can be purchased for $9.99.
