After teasing the launch earlier this week, Suoer7 today officially launched their Garbage Pail Kids ReAction Figure – Adam Bomb (Glow). This 3.75” figure is similar to their previous launched Adam Bomb figures except this one Glows in the Dark. The figure is packaged with a heavy duty cardboard backing featuring artwork and fun facts about the characters on the back. The figure is available now for $20 on Super7’s website.
Another clothing company is joining the GPK universe by launching an officially licensed clothing line. Riot Society has launched a number of Garbage Pail Kids shirts and sweatshirts that are available for purchase on their website. Two new short sleeve t-shirts featuring Hot Scott and Bony Tony are available for $24 each. A long sleeve Adam Bomb shirt is listed for $32. Finally, a Grim Jim hoodie sweatshirt is available in men’s or women’s varieties for $52. All items are available in sizes S-XXL.
Super 7 begun teasing a new Garbage Pail Kids Adam Bomb figure today on its social media accounts. The figure is a glow in the dark head shot of Adam. The figure resembles the same re-action figures released by Super 7 in 2020 and 2021 at San Diego Comic Con virtual events. There is no other info on Super 7’a post, other than “coming soon”. More to come on this one when Super 7 reveals more.
3000toys.com has the mock-up pictures for Greenlight Garbage Pail Kids Series 4 diecast cars. Thanks to collector Paul Lewis for the heads up! This is the first look at what the latest toy car series will look like. All accompanying cards are also pictured, including the brand new artwork done by Joe Simko, Tangled Tim. Once again collectors can search for the limited Green Machine parallel cars. The cars are currently set to be released in the May/June timeframe.

PremiumDNA is all set for tomorrow’s preorder for their Garbage Pail Kids vs. Madballs figures. There will be four 2-packs available for sale. Each pack contains a 6” GPK figure and a Madballs rival figure. In addition each pack comes with various accessories that can be swapped onto any of the figures so collectors can create their own custom battles.
The preorder begins Saturday, 1/29/22 at 10:00 AM EST on the PremiumDNA.toys website. The first 1500 orders will received an exclusive 4 card pack depicting battle scenes with each character. The artwork on the cards was done by GPK artist Joe Simko. Limited edition “b-card” 2 packs will also be available for preorder tomorrow. The b-card packs are exclusive to PremiumDNA and will be limited to 250 copies. The company tells GPKNews that the preorder window will remain open long enough so collectors have plenty of time to get their orders in. The regular figures will also be offered at other online retail outlets at some point. Each 2-pack will be priced at $79.99. All figures are currently planned to ship in the first quarter of 2023. SCREAMIN MEEMIE Vs MOUTH PHIL
Screamin Meemie includes interchangeable baseball glove hand and baseball bat. Mouth Phil features 3 swappable mouth inserts: Baseballs, Screamin Meemie balls, and assorted Madballs! All figures include 4 pairs of interchangeable hands.
Collectors are busy buying up the Garbage Pail Kids Micro Blind Box packs as they have begun hitting stores across the country. Super Impulse isn’t done with GPK and they were nice enough to send preview packs of the upcoming GPK Micro Series 2 figures. Much like Series 1, the new series is comprised of six new figures, 3 characters with a/b versions. Characters in series 2 are; Brainy Janie, Jenny Genius, Damaged Don, Unstitched Mitch, New Wave Dave, and Graffiti Petey. Each character will come sealed, with its own display case, and mini card. While there is no official release date yet, Super Impulse is hoping the figures will hit stores towards the end of of the first quarter (March).
In January of last year, Topps and Cloudco announced a collaboration pitting the Garbage Pail Kids vs. Madballs. Now, just over a year later, the toys associated with the collaboration are set to launch. PremiumDNA and Topps announced today the upcoming preorder for Madballs vs. GPK toys. There will be four different 2-toy packs available for purchase. Each toy pack comes with one classic GPK character and one Madballs character. The toys stand 6 inches tall and all come with swappable parts to create different creations. The toys will also come with battle panels, accessories, and additional hands. Premium DNA is also advertising that the first 1500 orders will come with a set of 4 Madballs Vs GPK trading card stickers that correspond with the 2 pack lineups. The first officially licensed daily GPK calendar is set to hit desks everywhere in 2023. Thanks to collector Christopher Pinnow for being the first to point out the listing. Abrams Books is now officially offering the Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays 2023 365 Day-to-Day Calendar. The daily desk calendar features a holidays for each of the 365 days, along with a picture of an existing GPK to match the holiday. The examples all shown show classic John Poumd cards, but in the description for some of other days there is planned artwork from the Bizarre Holidays set that will be used. The GPK artist is credited under each card. You can preorder the calendar now from Amazon for $16.99. The calendar is set to be released Aug. 30, 2022. Did Santa bring you all the GPK toys you wanted for Christmas? If not it’s time to go buy your own! The Super Impulse Garbage Pail Kids Micro Collection Mystery Packs that were announced back in July, are now live. Thanks to GPK collector Rachel Dahlke for sending along pictures of the toys she found at her local Meijer store today. Each mystery pack contains 1 GPK Figure, 1 Wacky GPK Mini, 2 cards, and 2 checklist. Packs sell for anywhere from $4.99-$7.99 in the store. In total there are 31 different GPK figures, 23 Wacky GPK Minis, and 24 cards to collect. That includes parallel figures that are more rare than others. Keep your eyes out in retail stores that carry mini mustery packs, as these should start showing up in more places soon.
After a few holiday related releases, GPK Nation is preparing to offer a two part Garbage Pail Kids Semi Colin coin. Artwork for the licensed coin was done by artist Andrew Artz. This is the Yellow Color Proof version, the company is planning on launching additional colors with this design. Coins will be numbered /25 on the back, and labeled as 21a & 21b. Collectors can get their hands on the coin this Sunday, 12/12 at 3:00 PM EST.
