Update: The Adam Bomb figure is now available for pre-order from Polyphony’s website for $199.99. According to the website the figures will ship in January. If you are in person at NYCC you can get the figure now in show exclusive boxes for the same price.
Update: Polyphony has revealed additional details for their 15” Adam Bomb figure. The company has announced a number of bonus items that will come inside the box along with the figure. First there is a 3D Adam Bomb card, along with 3D glasses. Next there is a case file folder and post card. Then there is a large 11 x 16 wax wrapper poster. Finally, a real adult sized Adam Bomb tie to upgrade your wardrobe. Pricing for the figure has not yet been revealed by the company. The figure goes on sale tomorrow, 10/17, at NYCC (Booth #1771) or on the Polyphony website.
Back nearly two years ago Polyphony announced they were creating a Garbage Pail Kids Adam Bomb figure. There was very little info at the time on the figure. Good news for collectors, this figure will make its debut at next week’s New York Comic Con. This large 15” figure has been a long time coming for the company. The past couple of weeks the company began teasing the new figure on their Instagram account. First posting a picture of numerous ties from Adam. Next they posted a picture that looks like could be the box for the product. Recently they posted a new picture showing what could be a poster or card of a Series 1 wrapper. The company did respond to GPKNews with a request for information, but were not yet ready to reveal all the details of the new figure. They did confirm the figure would be sold at the Tenacious Toys booth (#1771) at NYCC. The company also said there would be some figures available on their website during the show. The company also told GPKNews that the Adam figure is the first in their Maestro Series. They said there are more GPK figures in the works. NYCC takes place next week, 10/17-10/20 at the Javits Center in New York. GPKNews will post additional details on the figure once available.
