It would appear cats aren’t quite as popular as GameStop. After ending earlier today, Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Zoom Mishaps. The set sold a total of 776 copies. This was well off the massive sales of the previous pop culture GameStonk set released a couple of weeks ago. Despite sales not reaching those heights, the numbers still equate to a very strong GPK set. With Topps unable to strike lightning twice, it will be interesting to see how often the pop culture sets appear in the coming months.

The set sold a total of 509 copies. This was slightly higher than last weeks sales. Collectors remain strong as the set finally begins to find down. Only a few weeks to go.

The sales are in for the start of month 11 of the weekly holiday sets. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays Feb. Week 1. Total sales were 505 sets. Sales were back to their usual numbers after the last two weeks being high, over 700. Only a few weeks left for Topps to complete en entire year of sets.

Topps Launches 2021 On Demand Set #1 Garbage Pail Kids Funny Valentines

In what has become a yearly tradition, Topps wants to be your GPK Valentine this year. Today Topps launched 2021 On Demand Set #1 Garbage Pail Kids Funny Valentines. The 21 card set contains 20 character cards, 10 new pieces of artwork in a/b versions, and 1 header card.. Artists Joe Simko, David Gross, Brent Engstrom, Joe McWilliams, and Neil Camera each did two cards for the set. There is also the 10 card Valentines Cards insert set. Brent Engstrom did all the art for the insert set. Each set comes with the 21 card base set, 2 Character Valentines Cards insert cards, 2 red heard parallel cards, and 1 black heart parallel card. There is also a 1:2 chance at pulling a sketch card. Known artists doing sketches on the set are; Jasmine Contois (77), Greg Treize (50), Darrin Pepe (60), Brandhen Snyder (70), Nik Castaneda (50), Daniel Contois (77), Vincenzo d’Ippolito (70), Bobby Blakey (53), Gavin Williams (75), Anthony Skubis (?), Chris Meeks (50), and Robert Jimenez (40). In their daily email blast to customers, Topps teased Garbage Pail Kids Funny Valentines. The example shown shows the front and back of one of the cards. It’s not know if these are regular sized cards or larger like an actually Valentines Day card. The set is expected to be an On Demand type of set, as a sketch artist posted sketch blanks for a Valentines set a few weeks back. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled to Topps.com for the launch.

At the end of the 10th month of weekly holiday sets, sales remains strong. Today, Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays Jan. Week 5. The set sold a total of 703 copies. The sales are just slightly lower than the previous week’s high, and is the second best selling weekly holiday set. It appears that despite being in the home stretch the weekly sets are picking up steam. GPK has continued to see demand not seen in decades. Topps will no doubt be satisfying that demand with more sets to come.

Topps Reveals Print Run for 2021 Garbage Pail Kids Gamestonk

After ending earlier this morning, Topps revealed the print run for 2021 Garbage Pail Kids Gamestonk. Most collectors assumed the set would sell well, I’m not sure anyone expected the kind of sales it got. The set sold a massive 13,075 copies! This shatters all online GPK sales records to date, nothing comes even close. The set appealed not only to collectors, but to the masses with cards based on the news of the last few weeks. Topps will surely look to go back to producing timely news based cards based off these results.
