Did collectors feel the love this past Valentine’s Day? Topps latest online holiday themed set went on sale last Wed. for one week. As has been the recent tradition, the set contained a mix of GPK and Wacky Packages. Newer artists completed the artwork this time, with Miran Kim doing all the GPKs, and Robert Jimenez doing the Wacky’s. Collectors showed they continue to like the holiday sets better than awards sets. Total sales for the set ended at 170. That total puts it slightly under the Thanksgiving set. Expect Topps to be back on the awards cards with a set based on the Oscars soon.
