After a delay of a few days due to the holiday weekend, Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Bizarre Holidays Jan. Week 1. Sales for the set rebounded a bit over the 500 mark after a few weeks of lower sales. Total sales for the set ended at 507 copies. This was the first set of month number ten for the series. It’s expected Topps will complete one year of weekly holiday sets in March.

Topps has been catching up on print runs for sets ending over the holiday week last week. Today they revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids 2020 Was the Worst Week 2. The set sold a total of 671 copies. Sales were down over 100 from the first week, but still strong sales for the set. The two week series helped to celebrate(?) everything that was horrible about 2020. Here’s hoping there won’t need a repeat set at the end of 2021.

That continues the downward sales for the month of Dec., week over week. It also falls on the lower end of sales for the weekly holiday sets. We won’t have to wait long for more sales numbers as Dec. Week 4 ends tomorrow.

The set sold 790 total copies. Those are very strong numbers for a non On Demand set. Collectors have the chance to complete their 2020 Worst set as the final week of the set is on sale now.

Topps Shares 2020 Garbage Pail Kids Sapphire Checklist
The first mystery behind the upcoming GPK Sapphire release has been solved. Today Topps shared with GPKNews the checklist for 2020 Garbage Pail Kids Sapphire. As advertised on the box, the checklist features every card from OS 1 & OS 2. All cards from 1a/b – 83a/b appear on the checklist, 166 cards in total. There are no inserts listed on the checklist. No other information on the set has been revealed by Topps. Its still in known if there are unnumbered base cards, or any of the odds on the parallels. GPK Sapphire was first available to 582 Montgomery Club members last Monday, then sold out to the general public in less than 30 mins. the following day. There is also no information when the boxes will ship from Topps. For now, the checklist can be seen in PDF form here.
