Appearently collectors didn’t feel the love for Topps online release yesterday. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Network Spews cards #11-#16 and Wacky Packages card, Trumpocracy #47. To partially celebrate Valentine’s Day, Topps released a number of cards, some with a valentine theme. Sales for the all cards were much lower than previous releases. In fact, three of the GPK cards broke the record for lowest online sales, with card #15 setting the record for lowest sales at 143 copies sold. The Wacky Packages cards, while not breaking 300, still had a couple sell in the high 200’s. While Topps has doubled down with the number of cards and frequency being offered, collectors are turning their backs on buying these online releases. It will be interesting to see if Topps adjusts how they offer online releases going forward. Here are the final numbers for this round.

Love is in the air today with Topps online exclusive GPK offers. Today Topps launched Garbage Pail Kids Network Spews cards #11-#16. The six cards consist of four GPK and two Wacky Packages cards. The cards focus on current events in the news as well as a few for Valentine’s Day. Topps also launched a new Wacky Packages Trumpocracy card, #47, and a Twister card. Each card can be purchased for $9.99 or in lots of 5 for $29.99, 10 for $49.99, or 20 for $79.99. An eight card bundle featuring one of each of today’s cards can be purchased for $54.99. Free shipping is being offered via the SmartPost option. The cards will be for sale on Topps.com for 24 hours. Topps will reveal the print run at the end of the sale. Topps third release this week saw yet another record low in sales be set. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #23-#28, and GPK Network Spews #7. Once again all the GPK cards came in low. The Trumpocracy GPK cards all finished right around 200. The lone exception was the card featuring New Wave Dave, which made the mid 200’s. The Wacky Packages card did see an increase at over 300 copies sold. The Network Spews card however set a new GPK low, with only 165 copies sold. Topps is all in this week with a forth release. We should have sales numbers for that release tomorrow. Meanwhile here are the final numbers for the third release of the week.

Topps second presidential release of the week saw record low number of sales for the online cards. Today Topps released the print run information for Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #19-#22 and GPK Network Spews #6. Only one of the GPK cards released cracked the 200 sales mark. The rest finished just under with the lowest, #21, setting a new low at 187 copies sold. Topps is continue so far with a full online launch schedule of 6-7 cards a day on Tues-Thur. It will be interesting to follow to see if collector’s tire of the continued releases. Today’s cards feature a whopping five new GPK images and one new Wacky Packages card. New Wave Dave is today’s classic character making an appearance in the set. Topps again are bouncing back and forth on the Wacky packages between the Trumpocracy and Alternate Facts brands. Topps also launched Garbage Pail Kids Network Spews #7 today, a GPK card. As usual each card can be purchased for $9.99 or in lots of 5 for $29.99, 10 for $49.99, or 20 for $79.99. A 7 card bundle featuring one each of today’s new cards can be purchased for $44.99. Free shipping is being offered via the SmartPost option. The cards will be available on topps.com for 24 hours. Topps will reveal the print run at the end of the sale. The first presidential release of the week saw very similar numbers to the releases last week. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Truamocracy – The First 100 Days cards #14-#18 and GPK Network Spews cards #5. In what appears to be the new normal, the Wacky Packages cards all did in the mid-200’s, while the GPK themed cards finished in the low 200’s. While Topps is mixing and matching with different online brands, it looks like they will be sticking to a Tues-Thur release schedule. Here are the final numbers.

This week’s second online release from Topps brings four new cards featuring president Trump. Today Topps launched Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #19-#22. All four cards offered today are GPK cards, and all feature our new president in various forms. Topps also today launched Garbage Pail Kids Network Spews #6. This is the first GPK card for the Network Spews set in a while, as the last ones have been Wacky Packages cards. Today’s card features a confused Winona Ryder in a GPK parody. Topps also went back to the Wacky Alternate Facts set, launching one new card in the series. Additionally a new Twister card was also launched today. Originally Topps didn’t have the Twister card listed for sale, but the card has now appeared on the site. Each of today’s cards can be purchased for $9.99 or in lots of 5 for $29.99, 10 for $49.99, or 20 for $79.99. A 7 card bundle featuring one each of today’s cards can be purchased for $44.99.
