Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Trumpocracy #101-#105 & Network Spews #20

The first online exclusive release of the week brought a spike in sales across the board. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #101-#105 & GPK Network Spews #20. Both GPK and Wackys saw a resurgence in sales with Tuesday’s release. The GPK Trumpocracy cards finished in the high 100’s, while the GPK Network Spews card topped them at 213 copies sold. The Wacky Packages were in the high 200’s, and even one just crossed the 300 mark in sales. These numbers represent a 50-60 card increase over what the cards have been selling for. For whatever reason these cards did much better with collectors. It will be interesting to see if Wednesday’s release will stay consistent with this one. Here are the final numbers.

Topps is back at it this week with their GPK and Wacky online exclusives. Today Topps launched Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #101-#105 & GPK Network Spews #20. Today’s political cards feature only two GPK and 3 Wacky cards. While the Network Spews card is a GPK card feature a parody of the crashed BBC interview from this past weekend. Each card can be purchased for $9.99 or in lots of 5 for $29.99, 10 for $49.99, or 20 for $79.99. A six card bundle featuring one of each card can be purchased for $39.99. Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Trumpocracy #77-#83 & Network Spews #19

The sales numbers are out for the third straight day of political cards, and Topps saw a slight increase in sales. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #77-#83 and GPK Network Spews #19. Across the board sales were up slightly from the record lows set the previous day. The GPK cards for the most part finished in the 160’s, except for the Conway one which nearly reached 200. The Wacky’s also rebounded with cards in the higher 200’s in sales. After a full week of online releases it will be interesting to see how Topps follows up next week. Topps Reveals Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Trumpocracy #64-#76 & Network Spews #18

Topps was delayed a bit in releasing online print run numbers for this week’s cards. The numbers aren’t good for the first two political releases of the week. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #64-#76, and Network Spews card #18. Collectors did not show up to purchase this weeks cards. New record lows were set within the Trumpocracy set, as three cards broke the previous low mark. The new low is now 140 sold, with cards #71 & #73 hitting that mark. For the most part the GPK cards finished in the 140-160 range over the last two days. The Wackys were also down quite a bit, especially Wednesday’s cards. Those Wackys ended just over the 200 mark. With the third day of huge offerings from Topps today, it will be interesting to see if new lows are set once again. Here are the final print run numbers for the cards offered Tuesday/Wednesday.

Today’s release features three GPK and three Wacky Package cards focusing on recent political happenings. Additionally even though there is a set currently up for sale, Topps has another Oscar ending parody for sale today, this time as part of the Network Spews set. Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Trumpocracy #59-#63 & Network Spews #17

Sales for the latest batch of political cards fell for second release this week. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #59-#63 & Network Spews #17. Sales numbers are starting to show when Toppes releases multiple political releases in a row, the sales fall. Thursday’s release saw the GPK cards fall to the mid 100’s sold, while the Wacky’s fell to the mid 200’s. The exception to this was the Trump parody based off of a OS 1 series card, which managed to pull in 203 copies sold. Next week could bring us more online political cards along with a set based off the Oscars. Here are the final numbers for the last release of the week.

Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Network Spews #11-#16

Appearently collectors didn’t feel the love for Topps online release yesterday. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Network Spews cards #11-#16 and Wacky Packages card, Trumpocracy #47. To partially celebrate Valentine’s Day, Topps released a number of cards, some with a valentine theme. Sales for the all cards were much lower than previous releases. In fact, three of the GPK cards broke the record for lowest online sales, with card #15 setting the record for lowest sales at 143 copies sold. The Wacky Packages cards, while not breaking 300, still had a couple sell in the high 200’s. While Topps has doubled down with the number of cards and frequency being offered, collectors are turning their backs on buying these online releases. It will be interesting to see if Topps adjusts how they offer online releases going forward. Here are the final numbers for this round.
