Topps Launches GPK Trumpocracy #149-#152 & Network Spews #35-#36

After leaving GPK out of yesterday’s online offer they make a small return to today’s six card sale. Today Topps launched Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #149-#152, and Network Spews #35-#36. Today’s Trumpocracy cards feature two GPK (#149 Artist: Simko, #150 Artist: ?) and two Wacky Packages (#151 Artist: ?, #152 Artist: ?) cards. Card #152 matches the size of the previous Trump themed online set, Dis-grace to the Whitehouse. Today’s Network Spews continues the trend of only Wackys, with two new ones (#35 Artist: ?, #36 Artist: ?). As usual each card can be purchased for $9.99 or in lots of 5 for $29.99, 10 for $49.99, or 20 for $79.99. A six card bundle featuring one of each card can be purchased for $39.99. Free shipping in the US is available via the SmartPost, or international shipping is $10. The cards will be on sale for 24 hours via topps.com. Topps will reveal the print run at the end of the sale. Topps Leaves Out GPK in Latest Trumporcacy Offer/Fixes International Shipping

Some good news and bad news for Garbage Pail Kids fans today. First the bad news, today Topps launched one Trumpocracy (#148 – Artist: Camera) card two Network Spews (#33 – Artist: Im-#34 Artist: Im) cards, all of them Wacky Packages. This is the second time an entire day’s offer was Wacky Packages only. The move to predominantly offer Wackys started about a month ago. It appears Topps has almost entirely changed the Network Spews set over to Wacky Packages, the last seven cards in the set have been Wackys. You can’t blame Topps for this as the Wacky Package cards have continued to outsell their GPK counterparts by 50-100 copies.

Today’s good news for GPK collectors comes by way of Topps announcing that international customers can now have Topps Now cards shipped to them for a flat rate fee of $10. Previously, customers purchasing outside the US would be charged well over $100 to ship just one card. This is a welcome change by Topps, and fixes one of the biggest complaints about the Topps Now On Demand service.

For those collector’s going for the set each of today’s cards can be purchased for $9.99 or in lots of 5 for $29.99, 10 for $49.99, or 20 for $79.99. A three card bundle featuring one of each card is available for $29.99. Free shipping is being offered in the US via the SmartPost option, internationally shipping is $10. It took Topps a while, but they’ve finally caught up on print runs for the Trumpocracy cards. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #144-#147, and GPK Network Spews #31-#32. These were the cards on sale last Wed. and Thur. on topps.com. The GPK cards, only two of them, came in right around average for recent sales. The Wackys saw a little rebound, with 3 of the 4 well into the 200’s in sales. This week is bound to bring additional entries in the series. There is less than two weeks remaining in President Trump’s first 100 days in office. Here are how the final numbers came out.

Today Topps launched Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #146-#147, and GPK Network Spews #32. Once again there are only three cards, and once again the same setup is used. The two Trumpocracy cards are one GPK (Artist: Simko), and one Wacky Packages (Artist: Smokin’ Joe), while the Network Spews card in once again a Wacky Packages (Artist: Im) card. The first Trumpocracy release of the week saw collectors stay away. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #142-#143, and GPK Network Spews #30. Neither Trumpocracy cards did well with the GPK and Wacky doing sales numbers on the low end for this release. The Network Spews Wacky card finished slightly better, breaking the 200 mark. Topps is all in this week with daily releases as we head quickly for day #100 in Trump’s presidency. Here are how the final numbered ended up.

Topps Launches Topps Now Loyalty Program

Today Topps announced a new customer loyalty program aimed at those customers that purchase the on demand online cards from their website. The Topps Now Loyalty Program consists of four tiers based on how much you spend on Topps Now cards. The amount is determined based on how much you spent on eligible cards during the last 365 days. Once you sign into your Topps account and accept the Terms and Conditions, your account is automatically placed in the Tier based off of your spending during 2016. It appears that purchased of Garbage Pail Kids do count towards the points earned.

The four tier levels consist of Rookie, All-Star, Hall of Fame, and Platinum. The Platinum tier is by invitation only from Topps and is reserved for those customers who spent the most on Topps Now cards in 2016. Platinum customers were mailed a exclusive nine card autographed set of baseball cards numbered /25 last week. All other customers who log in should see where they are on the tiers. You also have access to the benefits right away which include coupons or free Topps Now card of the month.

While the program does seem to initially be based around the Baseball cards on Topps Now, sales from Garbage Pail Kids do count towards your point total, (See picture below, pointed added to my account after GPK Hall of Lame purchase). Topps Launches 2017 GPK Rock & Roll Hall of Lame Online Set

In keeping with the awards tradition, Topps starts off the week with a set based on this past weekend’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies. Today Topps launched 2017 Garbage Pail Kids Rock & Roll Hall of Lame set. The set consists of 17 total cards with both GPK and Wacky Packages. There are six new GPK paintings, five available in a/b pairs, and one card available as a a/b/c triple name. Rounding out the set is four individual Wacky Packages cards. The individual Wackys and the five GPK a/b pairs can be purchased for $9.99, while the GPK triple name card is available for $14.99. The entire 17 card set is available for $44.99. Free shipping is available via the SmartPost option. The cards will be available on topps.com for 22 days. Topps will reveal the print run at the end of the sale. Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Trumpocracy #139-#141 & Network Spews #27-#29

The longer the week got the smaller the sales were. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Trumpocracy – The First 100 Days cards #139-#141, and GPK Network Spews cards #27-#29. The posted print runs were for both releases from Wednesday and Thursday this week. The GPK cards from Wednesday did well, one even doing over 200 copies, however Thursday’s card was down compared to other this week. The Wacky’s as a whole were down with two cards well under 200 copies. Topps went easy on collectors with just nine cards this week. With only three weeks until Trump hits 100 days in office there is sure to be many more coming soon. Here are the final results from Wed/Thur.
