Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Disg-Race Cards #99-#101

Now three months later Topps has crossed the 100 card marker in their presidential election set. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Disgrace cards #99-#101. like usual, the Wacky Packs card lead the way in sales with 441. The other two GPK cards came in right around 300. Sales have been consistent the past few weeks, as set collectors continue to purchase what Topps releases. Expect Topps to put card #100 in the rear view mirror, as many more cards will be on their way. Here is the final print run information.

Topps Apologizes for GPK Thanksgiving Shipping Errors

Collectors began receiving their Garbage Pail Kids Thanskgiving sets in the mail this week. Much to their surprise the package only included cards 5a/b, instead of the entire set. After receiving a number of calls and emails from collectors, Topps addressed the error in an email sent today to those that purchased the set. Topps acknowledged that customers were only shipped those two cards. Topps said they would expediate shipping out the remaining cards to customers. Topps Launches GPK Disg-Race to the White House Cards #102-#104

img_0442For the third straight day Topps is back at it with their presidential election set. Today Topps launched Garbage Pail Kids Disg-Race to the White House cards #102-#104. Today’s cards feature two GPK cards along with one Wacky Packages card. The hightlight is a card based off of this week’s Time magazine person of the year issue. Each card can be purchased for $9.99 or is available in lots of 5 for $29.99, 10 for $49.99, or 20 for $79.99. A three card bundle featuring one of each card can be purchased for $29.99. Today Topps launched Garbage Pail Kids Disg-Race to the White House cards #99-#101. The three card offering features two GPK cards, and one Wacky Packages card. Ben Carson makes a return to the set, previously featured on cards as a presidential candidate, he now takes his turn as one of Trump nominees for a position in his cabinet. Each of today’s cards can be purchased for $9.99 or in lots of 5 for $29.99, 10 for $49.99, or 20 for $79.99. A three card bundle can be purchased for $24.99. Topps Reveal Print Run for GPK Disg-Race Cards #95-#98

img_0401The holiday season continues, bringing many new Trump cards right along with it. Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Disg-Race to the White House cards #95-#98. Sales were down slightly for this four card version compared to the previous week’s releases. Once again the Wacky Packs sticker led the way with 407 copies sold, while the GPK cards were all right around 300. Perhaps the most surprising sales number was the fact that the Clinton card was the leading GPK sales leader. Historically the Trump cards have outsold the Clinton cards. The lack of recent Clinton cards could be the reason behind the win for Clinton this time around. Continue to look for GPK Disg-Race cards until at least the inauguration in January. Today Topps revealed the print run information for Garbage Pail Kids Disg-Race to the White House cards #91-#94. As has been the case with previous releases, the Wacky Packs card lead the way with 467 copies sold. The GPK cards all finished in the mid 300’s. The cards all performed better than the previous day’s release. A steady steam of Disg-Race cards are to be expected through the inauguration in January. Here is the final print run numbers.

Topps Reveals Print Run for GPK Thanksgiving Set

img_0336Black Friday has come and gone, but did customers spend their money on the GPK Thanksgiving online exclusive set? Today Topps released print run information for the GPK Thanksgiving set. Topps had the set offered for one week in their online store only during Thanksgiving and the Black Friday weekend. Collectors showed they weren’t quite as excited for Turkey. The set sold in the mid-200’s doing quite a bit less sales than the Halloween counterpart offered a month earlier. Leading the way was the Wacky Packs card at 285 copies. This time however the GPK cards didn’t finish that far behind. I’m guessing we will be seeing a Christmas set very soon. Here is the print run information as revealed on the Topps Blog.

Today Topps revealed the print run for Garbage Pail Kids Disg-Race to the White House cards #87-#90. Once again the Wacky Packs card leads the way in sales. When Wacky collectors combine with collectors buying the bundle the cards easily leads in sales on a daily basis. The GPK cards all sold in the low to mid 300 range.
